Paper Adventures Team Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to another Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop!

This one is special, I mean super special! Ever met someone that is really special and is just an all round wonderful person? Well I met one of those people this year and I am so glad I had!

Kelly Kent is not only my upline for Stampin’ Up she has also become a lovely new friend of mine. Guess what? It’s her birthday today!

I made her this lovely card inspired by the Stampin’ Up! Website using some of the new products you can get your hands on from June 1st!

I have used my new favourite cardstock colour, Berry Burst teamed up with the new Happy Birthday Thinlit which I cut out using gold foil. The stamp set I used was the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous Set. I loved using some new colours for the flowers and leaves, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist (another new fav of mine!) and some existing favourites So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder.

Here is the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set….

I used a circle die from the layering circle thinlits to cut a circle of vellum to place behind the Happy Birthday cut out. I think it created a much softer look on this card.

Finished off with a ribbon I had in my stash from the free Sale-A-Bration promotion we recently had.

I love this card and I hope Kelly does too! Kelly, you are a wonderful support for your team, I appreciate all you do and I am really lucky I found you. I look forward to more fun crafting times together with you.

Until next time, stay happy!

Mandy x

PS. Don’t forget to check out what my gorgeous team mates have created! Next up is the lovely Anne Barker.

  1. Love your creation Mandy! It looks like the sta,p set and thinlits are very popular at the moment, I will certainly need to invest in them. I have Vellum but haven’t tried using it yet, I think I will need to branch out some more 😊 Xx
