Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop – Hostess Sets

Welcome to another Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop!

Tonight our amazing team and guest designer Melissa Gifford are showcasing some of the wonderful host sets you can earn when you host a Stampin’ Up! Workshop.

I have two favourite hostess stamp sets, Tranquil Tulips and In the City.

Both these sets are so versatile!

Let me start off with “Tranquil Tulips”. Love love love this set! Can be used for so many different occasions.

When I think of Tulips I think of the Nannup Tulip Festival which just happens to be on again this weekend!

I took this photo last year in Nannup, the Tulips were just stunning!

I made this beautiful card using my favourite coloured card stock Berry Burst with some Wood Textures designer series paper and stamped my tulips directly onto this paper using Berry Burst and Pear Pizazz stamp pads. I have used my Stitched Shapes Framelits around the “Happy Birthday” sentiment. Added some ribbon in Berry Burst and some Whisper White twine for the finishing touch!

My other favourite hostess set is “In the City”

Another VERY versatile set. I made this card for my neighbour, who recently looked after our house while we were away. Great idea for a thank you card for a friendly neighbour.

I think this set is a fantastic ice breaker too to welcome new neighbours to your neighbourhood. Like I said, the possibilities are endless!

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog and all the other Paper Adventure Team blogs. If you are interested in hosting a workshop to earn these sets or any other sets let me know and we can set this up for you!

Stamping is better with friends!

Happy Weekend!

Next up is my lovely friend Sheila Pybus, lets see what she has created!

  1. Love these, Mandy. I always forget about stamping straight onto dsp and the tulips on the wood works so well – I’ll have to CASE that one! I love the fussy cut cars heading down the road. Super cute.
