It’s time for another ESAD blog hop, this time we are showcasing some of the new items in the 2017 Holiday Catalogue!

I thought I was all prepared for this blog hop before I realised it was actually using product from the new holiday catalogue and I was still waiting for my box to arrive!

I was able to borrow a couple of sets while I waited for my box to arrive. Thanks Kelly!

The new holiday catalogue is jam packed with lots of Christmas sets and other sets that can be used for Halloween and some sets that can be used all year round! You need to get your hands on a catalogue because there is just so much to choose from!

I am never prepared for Christmas. I do everything at the last minute but I can tell this year will be different! I have already started on some Christmas cards.

I decided to make a simple card using the Watercolour Christmas Stamp Set. My inspiration for this card was from Paula Dobson. You can visit her blog here.

This set can be used with a DIY Watercolour Christmas Project Kit but you can also use it for other things too! What appeals to me about this stamp set is the large sentiment. Perfect for heat embossing in gold which I have done here.

I had fun stamping the little christmas trees in the background making it look like my own designer series paper. I used garden green stamp pad with my aqua painter to create a messy watercolour look to the trees.

Adding some gold stars to some of the trees to make this card have a bit of bling!

This card I used the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set. This cute stamp set can also be bought as a bundle with the coordinating dies and you save 10%! Who doesn’t love a saving?

The Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper was perfect to brighten this card. I love the sparkle this paper gives. I know I have kept the colours of christmas quite traditional here I will have to try some versions using nontraditional colours too!
