Recently I hosted my monthly card class with some lovely ladies that come and craft with me each month. During these classes we make 3 cards, we chat, we enjoy crafting together and we usually eat something yummy I have made and have a cuppa.
This month one of the cards we made was inspired by my upline and lovely friend Kelly Kent. Kelly posted a little while ago a cute pocket card that she had made and I was excited to give it a go.
I decided to decorate my pocket card using the follow your dreams bundle. This is a beautiful feminine set, beautiful stamps and dies and I just love that there are feather dies. This is something new for me to add to my growing craft collection.
I am so in love with the colour Blackberry Bliss at the moment. I am pretty sure I have used it on every card for the last 2 weeks! I love Blackberry Bliss and Blushing Bride together, it makes such a beautiful combo.
My card class ladies really enjoyed making something a little bit different to a normal card, this pocket card would be perfect for birthday invitations. The middle insert just slides in and use the tab to pull it out. We stamped some feathers on the inside too for a bit of extra fun.
My dream catcher needed some bling so I used some of the Champagne Foil to add some extra shine. See that DSP? That is from Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. This DSP is a must have! New in the Holiday Catalogue which goes on sale for customers on 5th September. Or better still join my team and learn about all the perks of being a demonstrator one big perk is we get to buy products early!
I used the “just a note” sentiment from the Better Together stamp set. Given the layout of this card, I thought this was just perfect! The circle tab punch is the perfect punch to use on the pull tab part of the card and the stitched circle and the stitched love heart are both from the Stitched Label Framelit set. So Cute!
