Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop Christmas

32 sleeps to Christmas! Say what? That’s right, the silly season is fast approaching us. So it seemed like a good idea to make this month’s Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop all about Christmas! This month we welcome guest designer Shannon Kissane, thanks for joining us Shannon!

I have been busy creating different Christmas cards in my monthly classes for a few month’s now. Isn’t it surprising how quickly this time of the year seems to creep up on us!

One of the Christmas sets I adore this year is Peaceful Noel. This set is gorgeous! Comes in a bundle with a leaf sprigg punch and you save 10%.

I have created three different cards for this blog hop using this set. The first card would suit a beginner, who is just getting started with their supplies. This card is only using ink, stamps and paper.

Isn’t it amazing how even with limited supplies you can make a pretty card. Often people tell me that they could never make cards because they are not creative. I believe everyone is creative and has the ability to make lovely cards.

This card is the next level up from a beginner, perhaps a casual crafter with a few more supplies, it is not hard to love punches! The Sprigg punch is used here with the Everyday Label Punch. Punches are a great way to jazz up a card with minimal effort. Background stamping on this card adds a little bit more dimension and the pearlised doily was the perfect addition. I love the tea room ribbon, comes in a combo pack and the colours are just gorgeous. I have already run out of my vanilla coloured ribbon with the coastal cabana closely running out too. I will have to order some more, it’s just so pretty!

My final card is using a few more elements. The background cardstock is embossed using the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. I have used the Triple Banner Punch and the Sprigg punch on this card with the addition of some sparkly green glimmer paper! One of my favourite dies from the Stitched Labels Framelit dies set, heat embossed sentiment with copper embossing powder. Love! The cute addition of a bow using the copper trim finishes this card off quite nicely.

As you can see from my samples above, any level crafter can make gorgeous cards, no matter what your experience is. I offer classes for all levels, I can even host a workshop for you and your friends and it can be loads of fun!

If you are interested in joining me at one of my card classes, please get in touch with me. I would love to have you join me in one of my classes and I can share with you how you can make your own amazing cards. Who wouldn’t love a handmade card sent to them?

Before you go, be sure to click on the next button below to see what my lovely friend Siobhan has created. Then don’t forget to check out the rest of the teams creations!

Happy blog hopping,
