Well hello crafty friends! Welcome back to another Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop. This month’s theme is a fun photo inspiration and we are joined by guest designer Ellen Woodbridge. Welcome Ellen, thanks for hopping along with us this month. I can’t wait to see everyone’s creative interpretation of this photo inspiration.
For me I love the colours of this photo and the gorgeous little ladybugs! The heart captures such a soft look so I decided to make a pretty birthday card using this photo as my inspiration.
I used the gorgeous Bloom and Grow stamp set which I absolutely love!
Lovely lipstick, highland heather, old olive, so saffron and smoky slate blends were used to colour in the flower arrangement. I even stamped some flowers on the inside of the card.
I decided to mount the champagne foil heart on a piece of whisper white embossed with the subtle embossing folder. I thought after I should of used a pretty pink like blushing bride instead of the white. Maybe I should make another! The heart was cut out using the be mine stitched framelits. I love all the stitched framelit dies. They are so versatile to use on all your craft projects.
I added the cute little butterfly from the butterfly beauty thinlit dies. This was my little addition like the cute lady bugs in the photo. I choose the beautiful sentiment from the varied vases stamp set. I think this sentiment went quite nicely on this card.
I would love to know what you think! I love and read all of your comments. Thank you for joining me today and please click on the next button below to see what the rest of the team have created. Next up is our lovely guest designer Ellen Woodbridge. Let’s see what she has in store for us.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, for me it is a mix between hockey and preparation for my card class next week.
See you next time,
Mandy x

Stunning card, Mandy. I love the way you’ve put the flowers up one side like the ladybugs in the photo. Beautiful colouring as always. I’m glad you chose the white background, the foil and the colouring really stand out against it. 🙂 Siobhan.
